Frodsham Junior Football Club play in the Mid-Cheshire Youth Football League, and the Cheshire Girls League. The club is affiliated to the Cheshire County FA (affiliation numbers: Frodsham Town: CYR00003 and Frodsham Park: CYR00004)

The club aims to provide an opportunity for boys and girls from the local area, to participate in and enjoy organised football. We will, wherever possible (through qualified coaches) seek to enhance their technical skills so as to maximise their potential, and will do whatever we can to ensure that they participate within a safe environment.

Club History

Frodsham Junior Football Club was formed in 1979 when a number of parents got together, to provide football for the local children. Initially the club ran two teams, one at Under 11's and one at Under 9's with a total of 32 children playing competitive football, in our formed colours of red and black.

The first pitches used by the club were at the National Children's Home and Kingsley School, as there were no pitches available in Frodsham at that time. We played our competitive matches in the Runcorn & District Junior Leagues and Frodsham was one of the founder clubs in the original Runcorn Under 9's League, which was initially not recognised by the Football Association.

From these humble beginnings, Frodsham Junior Football Club has now developed into the successful club that we are today. We currently have 17 active teams and cater for over 300 children. All coaching and management is carried out on a voluntary basis, with most of our team coaches qualified to at least Junior Team Manager status.
